How to survive a ballet concert if asked to go to one?

I can barely sit through films, but the ballet? Give me a break. Luckily no one is asking me ... haha, but my grandmother was larger than ballet, opera, circus goer. lol ... once took me to the circus and I almost died of boredom. especially the clowns, the most boring shit 'performance I've seen.

I do not know what to say, if they can barely sit through movies. Can not you just surrender to the realization of a few hours? Maybe some Ritalin work ... Bring your MP3 player? Are you people serious? Way to show total disrespect for the interpreters. I've taken my wife a couple of operas, and though I do not care much for opera, I could appreciate the performance. It will kill you.
