Suggestions for a gift basket? My grandfather is on kemo for prostate cancer.?
My grandfather is on kemo for prostate cancer. It is nauseating and still has his appetite, but is diabetic, for sending candy is out. He is so weak and tired, I live in New York and Idaho, can not be there to care for him, but wants to prove he was still concerned so-Do you have any thoughtful practical gifts? I call the week to talk and tell him I love him-just want to give something tangible that can help you feel better ... I think I should give my grandmother something too-Soo is going through a lot now with him being sick ... (They just had their 60th anniversary!)
That's very sweet. Do you like flavored coffee or tea? Maybe something like that. I know that mint tea my father is feeling better, but it was a tea drinker. And green tea is very healthy so they can help you feel better. Maybe you could make a home video of yourself greet and tell him how much I miss and love. You're a great person and wonderful granddaughter!
