When I was a kid, my family did not celebrate Easter. With our first child, my husband and I had in tradition and not hold the Holy either.
My youngest daughter believed in Santa Claus, however. When I was little, I ran a daycare at home, and all children who came believed in Santa - so it was easier for her to think so. Except the year Peef Christmas bear arrived. That was very interesting.

Now that my daughter is almost a teenager, he fondly remembers Santa Claus, but tells me she's glad she told the truth when she was old enough to ask.

He got the same look on her face that she was 9 when first received the bear and his beloved book. "I loved Peef" he said wistfully, recalling that magical Christmas morning too.
