One of the favorite sweets appears to be Brownies. If you like friction, ice cream, chocolate, layered, as the basis for an ice cream as an appetizer or dessert luxury the humble brownie is always a welcome gift. Add this recipe to your file of brownie, ice cream and apricot Heavenly Brownies Brownies.

ICED BROWNIES

1 1 / 2 cups purpose flour
Cocoa 1 / 2 cup
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 / 3 cup canola oil
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13-inch baking oil pan spray with vegetable oil to one side.

In a bowl, beat sugar, oil, and eggs. In another bowl, mix the flour with salt, yeast and cocoa, stir well to mix. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture, mix well and add vanilla. Times in the nuts. Pour into prepared pan and bake 25 to 27 minutes at 350 degrees.

Icing:

3 to 4 tablespoons milk
1 stick butter
Pinch of salt
1 / 4 cup cocoa
powdered sugar

In a saucepan, melt the butter with the milk. Add salt and cocoa, stirring until everything is well mixed. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Add powdered sugar to make a good consistency to spread thin ice. Pour over cooled brownies and spread to the cover. Garnish with mini chocolate chips, if desired.

APRICOT HEAVENLY BROWNIES

2 bars (2 ounces each) white baking chocolate
Butter 1 / 3 cup
1 / 2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 / 4 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 / 4 cup all-purpose flour
1 / 2 teaspoon baking powder
Salt 1 / 4 teaspoon
1 cup finely chopped dried apricots
1 / almond 4 cup
1 / coconut 4 cup flakes

In a saucepan, melt white chocolate and butter over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate melts. Remove from heat and stir in sugar brown, eggs and vanilla until blended. Set aside.

In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Add the chocolate mixture. Combine apricots, almonds and coconut, and mix half the mixture into the dough. Pour into a 9-inch square baking pan. Sprinkle remaining apricot mixture on top mass. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until browned. Cool.
