A poem written on behalf of a child of her parents to present their 50th wedding anniversary.
Anna wanted to express the good, solid, loyal parents they are. Parents who love God, the Church and their children. His devotion and loyalty to their children are appreciated. That are honest about their relationships with others and to not take sides with anyone. They are, in their view, a soul mate.
I Do Some parents good and evil in this world, a definition that is sometimes hard to do, but when the strike really great parents, well that is just the icing on the cake.
So what defines greatness? I guess that comes from within, and I know I could not have picked a finer parents, I could not - though she had tried.
You see loyal parents, I have good, solid, Parents who love their God, their church and their own, and I am very grateful to them, I am grateful for all the love you have shown.
They have been my inspiration in life have been my guide, my shining light, They have guided us to tread on good grounds, and his love has shone consistently brilliant.
His love has shone for his patience, and sometimes I have to admit that I have to test their love has shone through his guidance, and some of his tips have proved be the best.
They have always taken the time to talk to us, that we thank them wholeheartedly, who have played such an important role in our lives, and both parties have played a mighty good.
Dad always was a good provider, but also gave her wisdom to share, He taught us morals and values for life, and has always been important to care.
He is really a very generous man, but does not believe in wasting anything, conservative in its nature, always careful about what tomorrow may bring.
My mother is also my friend, and I'm very proud to be his daughter, she has a warm gentle spirit, is like streams of water that flows freely.
I remember my sister and I untie racing dad's boots had to be tired at the end of their working day, sat to rest, and, of course, then going to play.
I remember sitting at breakfast one Sunday morning and, of course, everyone tells us that Grace, and I remember John running behind the truck, you should have seen the look on his face.
And we have good memories for many, too numerous to be individually said, but the memories will last more than one life, precious treasures we have always maintained.
Because, it's just wonderful when two people live their lives so that others notice and want to be like that, it's nothing to brag or boast, but rather something to be thankful, and that is a fact.
